Operations / General Manager. ( Chemical Manufacturing )
GM Operations is responsible for leading and directing the operations departments and teams, implementing key initiatives in line with Global and Local company Strategies to achieve sustainable growth in sales, profitability and cash flow.
Leading, directing and managing the Operations team by; establishing optimum departmental structures; ensuring effective Succession Planning. Ensuring fair industrial relations practices. Coaching and mentoring direct reports. Fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Planning, sourcing and providing strong and effective leadership to department managers to ensure that the organization's strategic objectives are achieved.
Working closely with the Managing Director and General Manager - Sales to devise strategies for achieving the organization's objectives in consideration of both internal and external factors.
Drive the execution of the Strategy while ensuring alignment with the global directives.

Duties & Responsibilities
10 Years’ business experience, 5 of which at senior management level
Good knowledge of relevant policies and procedures
Advanced business process knowledge
Good understanding of financial management principles/P&L leadership
