Fergburger is hiring now for Kitchen Porters to join the team.

Fergburger has been feeding hungry locals, travellers and burger fans from around the world since 2001. We're a busy, energetic bunch who take our food seriously, don't take ourselves too seriously, and know how to have a good time along the way.

We're looking for Kitchen Porters to join our kitchen team. If you like being busy, thrive in a fast-paced, energetic kitchen environment, and you're ready to get stuck in, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting the Chef team by ensuring they have the correct ingredients, stock and packaging they need throughout the shift
Assisting with basic food preparation and food handling
Keeping kitchen areas clean, organised and ready to go!
Communicating with the Fergburger teams and helping wherever needed
Moving and lifting stock, ingredients and kitchen supplies throughout the shift
Following our Food Control Plan and Health & Safety standards

What we're looking for:

Must be available to work a range of different shifts (morning, afternoon & evening) on a rotating roster
Available to work full-time hours, approximately 40–45 hours per week
Are happy working at pace and handling plenty of volume
Friendly, reliable and have a can-do attitude
Be physically fit, as this role involves being on your feet throughout the day, lifting up to 30kg and handling food items in large quantities
