Alongside your partner teacher, you will manage daily classroom activities, build strong connections with every child, and ensure their individual needs are met with good judgment and care. Using our provided curriculum as a guide, you'll design balanced lesson plans that mix intentional learning activities with purposeful, open play.    You will also..   Create a nurturing, responsive environment that promotes positive development of social and emotional competencies Communicate daily with parents and guardians while collaborating closely with co-teachers and school staff Assist children during meals, snacks, rest periods, and routine personal care (including toileting and diaper changing as needed) Keep the classroom clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations and licensing guidelines Perform other related classroom duties and school support tasks as assigned   What We Are Looking For   Educational background with 12 semesters or 18 quarter early childhood education units shall include courses that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum or a bachelor’s degree in child development Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior teaching experience with preschool students is preferred
