About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Salesperson for our Christchurch store. This is a part-time or full time position based in Christchurch, where you will be responsible for driving sales performance, and creating an exceptional shopping environment for our customers. As Salesperson , you will play a pivotal role in achieving our business objectives whilst being part of a high-performing team that embodies our company values and commitment to excellence.
Key responsibilities
Drive sales performance and meet or exceed store targets through effective sales strategies, staff engagement, and customer service excellence
Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering processes to ensure optimal product availability
Assist with store presentation and health and safety standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
About you
Proven experience as a Retail Assistant within a similar retail environment
Excellent knowledge of retail operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, and customer service best practices
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and drive profitability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders
Proficiency with retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
Health and Safety awareness with knowledge of workplace health and safety compliance
Flexibility and willingness to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends as required
A passion for retail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
