Our Client
Mackie Myers is partnering with an established international business looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join its finance team.

The Role
An excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to gain exposure to group reporting, consolidations and statutory accounting within an international, multi-entity environment.

Main Duties
Support monthly group reporting and consolidations
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with statutory accounts and year-end reporting
Support external audits and intercompany accounting
Contribute to month-end and year-end close
Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting

The Successful Candidate
Newly qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent
Experience in practice or industry, ideally within audit or financial reporting
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Advanced Excel and confidence with finance systems
Strong communication and organisational skills
Group reporting or consolidation experience would be advantageous
