About the role

Prime Kitchens is expanding into Queenstown and Wanaka and we're looking for designers who want more ownership over the work they create. You'll lead projects end-to-end, from the first client conversation through to a finished space that turns heads. This isn't just design; it's the full arc of relationship, vision, and execution, on some of the region's most ambitious residential and commercial builds.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and pricing bespoke residential and commercial joinery

• Leading clients through material, finish, and spatial decisions, bringing a strong point of view, not just options

• Owning the full journey from first enquiry to final handover

• Partnering with our design and production teams to deliver flawless outcomes

• Converting opportunities with confidence and commercial instinct

• Building long-term relationships with builders, developers, and high-value clients

• Growing a portfolio of standout, design-forward projects across Central Otago

What you bring

• Solid experience in joinery or kitchen design

• Fluency in CabMaster, Cabinet Vision, or Microvellum

• A sharp eye for detail and a refined design sensibility

• The communication skills to build trust fast — and the confidence to close

• A read on the Central Otago construction landscape

• A collaborative, design-first mindset
