About the Role

Albany Street Medical Centre is a midsized, central city practice and if you are passionate about quality patient care in a positive, close-knit team environment, we are keen to hear from you

We are seeking a permanent Full-time Experienced Registered Practice Nurse working 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, although we are open to splitting this role into two Part-time positions for the right candidates.  We are looking for applicants who enjoy working with people and are ready to meet all the challenges as general practice develops in the future.

If the role is split between two part-time nurses, we will work with you to divide responsibilities and shifts seamlessly based on your strengths.

Your core responsibilities will include

·         Patient triage, assessment, and chronic disease management.

·         Immunisations, wound care, and health screenings.

·         Assisting doctors with minor clinical procedures.

·         Maintaining accurate patient records and contributing to clinic quality standards.

What We Are Looking For

·         Practice Nurse with a current, unrestricted practicing license.

·         Medtech Evolution experience

·         Vaccinator Certificate is essential

·         Cervical Screening and IV cannulation experience is an advantage

·         Prior experience in general practice or primary healthcare is highly desirable.

·         Exceptional communication skills and a warm, empathetic patient manner.

·         A strong team player who prioritizes a great workplace culture and "fit."

·         High organization skills—especially critical if sharing the role with a partner.
