Senior Product Designer (Contract, 6 months)

• Daily Rate: $700 - $800 including super - based on experience
• Location: Melbourne, 3 days a week in office
• 6 month-Contract: Late October through to end of April
• Focus: Discovery-led product design on a complex, logistics-meets-digital platform

You'll join an established design team at a big-name Australian enterprise and own two customer experiences from first idea to final designs. You'll have a design lead nearby for guidance, and plenty of room to run.

What you'll do

• Lead discovery: get under the hood of the platform, frame the problem and set the direction
• Design end to end: flows, prototypes and polished designs through a 30/60/90 process with regular reviews
• Win over stakeholders: present and explain your thinking to project leads and design leads
• Work independently: turn ambiguity into clear, validated solutions
• Join the team: critiques, rituals and the occasional workshop

What you'll bring

• Minimum 4+ years as a UX or Product Designer across web and app
• A knack for gathering messy inputs and communicating them with clarity
• Strong design craft, with a good grasp of accessibility
• Agile delivery experience, from discovery through to handover
• Comfort with complex platforms and enterprise stakeholders
• A portfolio or PDF case studies showing your process (fancy not required)
• Proficiency in Figma and Miro, plus Jira and Confluence if you have them

Interview process: 1 virtual interview (about 1 hour), possibly a second (if there's a need).
