Key responsibilities
Leading, coaching, and developing a passionate, high-performing front of house team
Driving sales, service standards, and managing rosters and wage costs to keep operations running smart
Ensuring tasty, fresh food and cold drinks are served to standard every single shift
Ensuring full compliance with NZ liquor licensing laws and host responsibility standards
Managing events, entertainment, and promotions that make Oxley's shine
Building genuine relationships with locals, visitors, and the wider Marlborough community
Collaborating with senior management on strategy and exciting new directions
About you
A current Duty Manager's Certificate (LCQ qualified)
1+ years in a Duty Manager or senior supervisory role
A genuine customer-first mindset with warm, professional communication skills
Commercial awareness — an understanding of sales, costs, and what drives a venue's success
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
A shared alignment with principles of community, continuous learning, and mutual support
