About the role
Stanmore Bay Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated GP Practice Nurse to join our well-established and supportive healthcare team. As a GP Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality primary care to our patients in the Stanmore Bay, Auckland region. This is a full-time position, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with our GPs to deliver comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
What you'll be doing
Providing a range of nursing services, including wound care, immunisations, chronic disease management, and health assessments
Collaborating with GPs to develop and implement patient care plans
Coordinating patient appointments and ensuring efficient clinic flow
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Promoting health education and preventative care to patients
Assisting with the administration and management of the medical practice
Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities
What we're looking for
Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a GP Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients and the healthcare team
Excellent clinical skills, including patient assessment, treatment, and health promotion
Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and practice management software
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
