Cryvex is growing, and we're expanding our presence across the Manwatu. We're looking for apprentice Refrigeration Service Technicians to join our team, and we want to hear from motivated individuals looking to start their career through an apprenticeship.

Manawatu is home to some of New Zealand's most progressive dairy operations, and our work here is central to keeping those farms running at their best. If you're based in the region and want to build a long-term career close to home, this is a great opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a hands-on field role where no two days are the same. You'll be:

- Installing, commissioning, and servicing on-farm refrigeration equipment to a high standard

- Troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly to keep downtime to a minimum

- Providing on-site support and training so customers feel confident in their systems

- Building trusted relationships with farmers, contractors, and clients through reliable, quality service

What We're Looking For

Apprentices & Career Starters:

- A genuine interest in refrigeration and hands-on technical work

- A willingness to learn and work towards your EST registration

- Good mechanical aptitude and a practical mindset

- We'll provide the training, support, and structured pathway to get you qualified

For all candidates:

- Comfortable with computer-based systems

- The legal right to work in New Zealand
