The Role
This is a diverse role that combines electrical design, project coordination and production support. As part of the engineering team, you'll work closely with the sales and manufacturing teams, as well as directly with our customers to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.
Design switchboards and control panels using AutoCAD and other engineering software packages
Prepare manufacturing, wiring, layout and drawings for production
Coordinate projects through design, manufacturing and final delivery stages
Work closely with suppliers, customers, consultants and our internal manufacturing teams so that all project outcome requirements are achieved
About You
You are likely be someone with an engineering, electrical or project delivery background who enjoys the balance of technical design and customer interaction. You take pride in producing accurate work, solving problems and seeing projects through from concept to completion.
Experience using AutoCAD, Eplan or similar CAD software
An electrical trade, engineering qualification and relevant industry experience
Strong understanding of technical drawings and engineering documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills working with internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of switchboards, switchgear or the New Zealand electrical industry would be highly regarded
