We are currently looking for a Director of Events Management to join our team.

 

As a Director of Events Management, we rely on you to:

• Under the general guidance and supervision of Director of Sales & Marketing, the Director of Events Management leads and directs the Events Management team to achieve the catering revenue goal set by the Hotel through specific sales strategy implementation set forth in the Marketing Plan. He/she is also responsible to drive and provide training and personal development to the team members, as well as contributing ideas and feedback to operation teams for service enhancement.
• Ensures highest standards of service and product quality are provided to guests at all times.
• Closely monitors account revenue and business production. Adjusts strategies, procedures or account coverage as needed to achieve the planned goals.
• Ensures effective/close communication and good working relationships within the department and with other departments.
• Takes ownership in achieving departmental goals which contribute to the Hotel budget.
• Plans and establishes goals for department. Motivates and directs staff to achieve the department goals.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a passion for Sales Marketing
• Excellent presenter and communicator 
• Is self-driven, goal-oriented, able to challenge the status quo
• Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times 
• Enjoys crafting creative and best-fit solutions
• Thinks outside of the box whilst leading change in the hotel
• Preferably has a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a similar role
• Understands the global market and local environment
• Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
• Has strong interpersonal skills
