We are currently looking for Trainee Line Mechanics to join our team in Dunedin. These are permanent full-time roles with guaranteed fortnightly pay in a stable and supportive environment.
What you'll do:
Assist registered Line Mechanics to repair and restore lines, cables and equipment.
Undertake appropriate education and experience to be able to install new equipment and services on both overhead lines and underground cables.
Work in close contact with customers and the public, remaining courteous and helpful at all times.
Work in a team environment to actively support fellow team members.
Complete documentation relevant to the performance of duties

Are physically fit, like working outdoors, able to work at heights and enjoy working as part of a team.
Have a minimum four years secondary school, with NCEA passes in Maths and English.
Ideally have a full, clean drivers licence.

Interview and Selection Process:
A face to face interview, where we dive into your skills, experiences, and what you could add to the team.
Successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment (including drug and alcohol test) and physical assessment.
Please note this is a January 2027 start for these Roles.
