Great with people? Highly organised? Looking for your next opportunity?

Laser Electrical Rosebank is looking for a capable, organised and motivated Job Coordinator to join our busy electrical maintenance team.

You don't need to be an electrician or have experience in the electrical industry. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to keep things running smoothly.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

About Us

Laser Electrical Rosebank is one of Auckland's established electrical contracting businesses, with a team of more than 80 people delivering electrical services across residential, commercial and project environments.

We're a busy, growing business with a strong team culture and a focus on delivering great service to our customers.

About the Role

Working alongside our maintenance management team, you'll help coordinate the daily activities of our electricians and ensure jobs progress efficiently from initial customer enquiry through to completion.

This is a full-time, office-based position at our Rosebank premises. You'll work closely with our maintenance team, electricians and other office staff throughout the day. This is not a work-from-home or hybrid position.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and scheduling electricians for maintenance work

  • Responding to customer enquiries and arranging appointments

  • Communicating with customers, electricians and other team members

  • Monitoring job progress and keeping customers informed

  • Helping organise materials, equipment and subcontractors

  • Supporting job administration and ensuring work is completed and recorded accurately

  • Assisting with urgent maintenance requests and changing priorities

  • Working with the wider team to ensure customers receive prompt, professional service

You'll be part of a supportive team, with responsibilities increasing as your confidence and experience develop.

About You

We're more interested in finding the right person than someone who ticks every box.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • A friendly, professional approach to customer service

  • Confidence using computers and learning new systems

  • Good attention to detail and the ability to follow through

  • A practical, solutions-focused attitude

  • The ability to stay calm and organised when things get busy

  • A willingness to learn and take ownership of your work

Previous experience in administration, customer service, scheduling or job coordination would be beneficial.

Experience in the electrical, construction or trades industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.

You don't need to know everything on day one. We provide training, guidance and ongoing support to help you develop the technical knowledge and coordination skills required for the role.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience

  • Full-time, permanent employment

  • Comprehensive training and ongoing support

  • A friendly, experienced and supportive team

  • A varied role where no two days are quite the same

  • Opportunities to develop your skills and responsibilities

  • The stability of an established, growing Auckland business

  • A collaborative office environment where you'll work closely with the people you support

Interested?

If you're organised, enjoy working with people and like the satisfaction of getting things done, we'd love to hear from you.
