Fairfax Transport is an Auckland-based specialist in the delivery and installation of household appliances for major retailers and suppliers across the region.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Appliance Delivery & Installation staff to join our team.
This role involves delivering and installing appliances in customers' homes while providing a premium, customer-first experience at every door.
What the role involves
Delivery and installation of household appliances including fridges (including water connection models), dishwashers (dishdrawers and built-unders), washing machines, dryers, ovens, and cooktops
Removal and disposal of old appliances
Heavy lifting (10-14 jobs per day) - physically demanding & fast passed job.
Completing appliance installs safely, correctly, and efficiently
Providing an outstanding customer experience in customers' homes — warm, professional, and patient
Working alongside a delivery partner as part of a two-person team
What we are looking for
Ideally hands-on appliance installation experience across a wide range of brands and appliance types
Physically strong and fit, and comfortable working in customers' homes
Previous home delivery experience, i.e., housemoving, etc.
Warm, friendly, and well-presented at the door — you take pride in the experience you leave behind
Patient with customers — you take the time to walk them through their new appliance before you leave
Someone who treats every home with care and respect
Good communication skills and a genuine customer service attitude
Full NZ driver licence
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
