  • Lead workplace health and safety processes.

  • Coordinate fire and earthquake drills, first aid training and safety audits.

  • Monitor building compliance, maintenance schedules, vehicle registrations and asset management.

  • Support quality assurance processes, internal audits and organisational compliance requirements.

About You

You will be a confident administrator with exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in office administration, operations coordination or a similar role.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Experience using Xero.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Current full New Zealand Driver Licence.

  • Current First Aid  Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Police Vetting clearance.

  • Experience within the social services, community, not-for-profit or Māori service sector.

  • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Māori and te reo Māori, or a willingness to learn.

  • Knowledge of the Nelson community and local service networks.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking someone who:

  • Is highly organised and able to work independently.

  • Thrives in a busy and varied environment.
