You will need to be who you say you are, committed to mucking in, working with others, pulling your weight, and doing what it takes. You'll “own” what you do, and will have previously demonstrated capability and experience - preferably, in a truck-driving and/or production / manufacturing environment, or similar. You’ll “walk the talk”, knowing leading by example is the only way (and whinging about it is not). You will be focused on our “givens” (Health and Safety, and Quality) – while also keeping Productivity and the rest of our Core Values as a high priority.
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist or a superstar .. just have a clear track record of being an actual rock .. solid, steady, reliable, versatile, dependable, and up to the task (both physically and mentally). You'll be somebody who likes to work at a job that provides you with some physical exercise.
Can you demonstrate:
Class 2 Driver Licence and great driving track record
a great personal work ethic - including reliability, punctuality, excellent attendance, and a "can do, will do" attitude?
self-motivation - a safe pair of hands, and willing to dig deep and do what it takes to get the job done right?
in good enough shape - with a great medical / ACC track-record?
robustness and resilience - with a desire to keep reasonably fit ("move it or lose it")?
an irrepressibly positive attitude (including towards Health and Safety, Quality, and Productivity)?
able to follow instructions, systems, and procedures, and focus on the task at hand?
high standards of honesty, and integrity
a great Team player - able to get on well with others, avoiding conflict and drama?
can confidently pass a drug test, on an ongoing basis?
have your own reliable means of getting to work?
of average to above-average height (this is an important health and safety requirement, in our workplace)?
a tidy appearance, with good personal hygiene?
