Responsibilities
- Provide mental health assessment, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention for the incarcerated patient population
- Serve as a mental health primary clinician and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing and custody staff on treatment plans
- Follow all safety, security and contraband procedures
Requirements
- Active California license as a Psychologist (Board of Psychology), or LCSW, LMFT or LPCC (Board of Behavioral Sciences)
- Current BLS
- Correctional, forensic or inpatient behavioral health experience preferred
- Background check and facility security clearance
- TB test, immunizations and facility health clearances
