Open Liberty / WebSphere Liberty Lead Application Modernization Architect

Hybrid: 2? 3 days a week onsite

Location: Toronto

Role Description

? Design and architect enterprise applications using Open Liberty/WebSphere Liberty.

? Lead application modernization and migration programs from traditional WebSphere Application Server (WAS) to Open Liberty.

? Develop cloud-native microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Jakarta EE, and Open Liberty.

? Define application architecture, deployment strategies, and integration patterns.

? Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

? Design scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on cloud platforms.

? Collaborate with business, development, infrastructure, and security teams.

? Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership to development teams.

? Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize application environments.

? Create architecture documents, technical standards, and governance frameworks.
