As we expand, we’re seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor who’s hungry for growth and ready to fast-track their career - someone who thrives on problem-solving and enjoys building strong client relationships.

About the Role
A true all-rounder role with strong communication skills to be based in our Christchurch office who will:
Lead cost management delivery on major commercial projects, providing confident advice to clients and reporting to an Associate Director/Director
Prepare and review project budgets, feasibility studies, and drawdown certification reports across all design stages
Manage payment claims, variations, cost reporting, progress claims, and final accounts with a strong commercial focus
Develop and review detailed estimates using CostX and first‑principles methodologies, ensuring accuracy and buildability alignment
Analyse and interpret financial data across multiple projects to support client and lender decision‑making
Attend and contribute at client, design, site, funding, and PCG meetings, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and professional representation
What You’ll Bring
7+ years’ QS experience (minimum 4 years in NZ)
PQS consultancy background
Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract law, and NZ contracts
Stakeholder management and client-facing skills
Ability to deliver under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Clear communicator, relationship builder, and problem solver
Driven, enthusiastic, and a positive “can do” attitude
