A sound working knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and relevant approved documents is important, together with experience in consent processing, inspections, or both.
Attention to detail, sound judgement and a professional approach will be key to maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and customer service.
The successful candidate will bring:

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to make well-reasoned decisions.
Confidence using computer systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.
A commitment to professionalism, continuous improvement and delivering quality building compliance services will be highly valued.
