We are looking for a hands-on production leader who can drive productivity, quality workmanship, continuous improvement, and team performance.
This key leadership role is responsible for leading and coordinating all manufacturing operations to ensure the safe, efficient and profitable production of assembled machines. You will be accountable for production planning, quality control, health and safety compliance, continuous improvement, assisting with research and development projects and inventory management while fostering a positive and high performance culture.
Your responsibilities will span day-to-day production, ensuring standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality and safety protocols are maintained to ensure top quality products are produced for their customers. You will ensure effective resource allocation and planning, continued efficiency gains, along with development and growth for your staff.
To be considered, you must have previous leadership experience within a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, or industrial production environment. Either way, you must be a natural people leader who enjoys being across the floor each and every day; driving efficiency, problem solving, and ensuring optimisation across all aspects of the site. You must have a continuous improvement mindset and preferably have experience implementing Lean Manufacturing.
