Our Auckland team is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a 6-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave.
This is an opportunity to work with a well-established organisation known for delivering high-quality projects and achieving outstanding results across the industry. We're ideally looking for someone who is available to start as soon as possible and can hit the ground running.
What you’ll do
- Manage project costs and track them against budget
- Prepare and process monthly progress claims, variations and retentions
- Procure subcontracts and manage subcontractor payments
- Prepare cost reports and forecasts
- Work closely with Project Managers, site teams and client representatives
- Keep accurate records in JobPac
What you’ll bring
- A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or construction (or similar)
- 2+ years’ QS experience in NZ commercial construction
- Good understanding of NZS 3910 contracts
- Strong attention to detail, and you work well with numbers
- Clear communication and good working relationships
- JobPac experience is a bonus
- Eligible to work in NZ
