About the role

Care Upfront is looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Support Workers to join our Tauranga team. We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide home-based support to our clients living with complex care needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care, supporting our clients to maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life in the comfort of their own home and community.

Key responsibilities

• Providing personal cares, household assistance and community support.

• Assisting with mobility, daily living activities and complex care needs.

• Following individualised care plans while promoting independence, dignity and choice.

• Building positive, respectful relationships with the client and their whānau.

About you

• Previous experience in healthcare, disability or home-based support.

• Experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries or complex care needs (preferred).

• NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Level 3 or 4, or equivalent (preferred).

• A compassionate, patient and reliable approach to care.

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

• Full NZ Driver's Licence (essential).

• Ability to pass police vetting and legal right to work in NZ.
