An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Corporate Reporting Manager to join a high-performing finance team within a dynamic and growing insurance/reinsurance environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Finance, Actuarial, Investments, and Risk professionals, playing a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial and regulatory reporting.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director: Finance & Administration, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, regulatory compliance, IFRS 17 reporting oversight, and strategic financial insights to senior management.

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
- Oversee IFRS 17 reporting, reconciliations, and General Ledger integration
- Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures, and management reports
- Coordinate regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Partner with Finance, Actuarial, Investments, and Risk teams to analyse and challenge reporting outputs
- Review investment reporting and assess the impact of market movements on financial performance
- Drive process improvement, automation, and reporting efficiency
- Lead and develop finance reporting team members
Qualifications
- CA(SA), ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification
- 6-10 years' experience in financial reporting within insurance or reinsurance
- Strong IFRS 17 and regulatory reporting experience
- Solid understanding of financial statements, General Ledger reconciliations, and actuarial reporting
- Exposure to investment reporting and market risk
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Power BI, SQL, or data automation skills advantageous
