Job summary
Join our Chemotherapy Ward Clerk & Reception Team and Be the Calm at the Centre of Cancer CareOur Chemotherapy Ward Clerks and Reception Team play a vital role in delivering safe, seamless and compassionate cancer treatment. As the first friendly face patients and families see, you create a welcoming, reassuring environment at an understandably anxious time.
This is more than a reception role. You are a key coordinator at the heart of the service--linking patients, nurses, clinicians and pharmacy to ensure every treatment runs smoothly. From managing appointments and patient records to checking blood results, prescriptions and treatment plans, your attention to detail helps prevent delays and reduce clinical risk.
In a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, you'll actively manage patient flow, chair capacity and daily schedules, adapting quickly to change and problem-solving with confidence. Your work supports accurate data, strong governance and compliance with national cancer standards--keeping the unit safe, efficient and effective.
