As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guest rooms and service areas are maintained to the highest standards. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and servicing rooms, replenishing amenities, and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.
Key responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards (including stay-over and check-out rooms)
- Replenish amenities and ensure correct room setups
- Report maintenance and security issues promptly
- Participate in environmental and health & safety initiatives
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Housekeeping experience within a hotel environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Friendly, professional attitude with a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Should ideally be living currently in Christchurch and have valid NZ working rights which allow employment of more than 3 months.
