CalibrX is Australia's leading Salesforce recruitment agency, and we are partnering with a specialist Salesforce consultancy to find a Data Migration Lead to join their experienced delivery team.
You’ll work across the full migration process, from understanding source data and mapping business rules through to transformation, loading and reconciliation. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving data problems and taking ownership of their work.

You’ll work across the full migration process, from understanding source data and mapping business rules through to transformation, loading and reconciliation. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving data problems and taking ownership of their work.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse source data, identify quality issues and work with data owners to resolve them.
- Develop source-to-target mappings and document transformation rules.
- Build and run data extraction, transformation and loading processes into Salesforce.
- Manage load sequencing, object relationships and external IDs.
- Validate and reconcile data after each migration cycle, investigating failed records and resolving defects.
- Support test migrations, production cutover and post-migration support.
- Practical experience in data migration, ETL or data engineering.
- Experience migrating data into Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
- Strong SQL skills and confidence manipulating and validating structured data.
- Experience producing data mappings and transformation rules.
- Strong attention to detail, clear communication and the ability to work closely with clients and delivery teams.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Loader, Bulk API, Python or ETL tools would be an advantage.
- A current Australian Government Baseline security clearance is required.
