We are looking for a CA/Forecourt Manager to join the Leadership Team at EastPack in Katikati.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this position is responsible for effectively resourcing and maintaining the CA/Forecourt department to receive, store and transfer fruit in accordance with policy and best practice guidelines.

You will also plan and implement loading and accurate mapping of CA fruit, organise the CA sampling programme and monitor and control temperatures and atmospheres of CA stores.

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Proven experience leading teams (preferably within a logistics environment).

• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions while working under pressure.

• Able to manage, organise and motivate a team to achieve goals.

• Ability to effectively plan, forecast and schedule resourcing requirements.

• A good level of computer literacy including industry specific software (e.g. Freshcool, freshpack) and Excel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to work extended hours and weekends at times (particularly during main pack season).
