Digital Marketing Coordinator / Content Creator

Nature Baby, Grey Lynn, Auckland. Full time.

About Nature Baby

Nature Baby is one of New Zealand's most loved baby and children's brands, known for beautifully considered, natural products for the earliest years of life. We are a small, close-knit team with big creative ambitions, and we are growing fast across New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

The role

Your main job is keeping our paid content engine running. You will build the paid media planners for every launch and promotion in Canva, write them up as Asana briefs for our design team, and pull the finished content and the plan together in Google Docs so our media buyer can get campaigns live on time. You will also run Trybe, the app that brings our customer and creator content into Meta for Australia and the United States, and keep the content calendar on track across all three markets.

The other half of your week is making content yourself: trial reels to test what lands with American audiences, simple statics and GIFs built in Canva off our templates, and short videos cut together in CapCut. Some of that content has you in it, though not all of it, it may include BTS and occasional founder led content. We have a very well planned marketing calendar for the business.

You will work closely with, and under the creative direction of, our Head of Digital and Growth in our Digital / Ecommerce team working alongside our Content and Social Media Specialist and our Graphic Designer, in the Brand team. It really is a role that links the two departments.

What you will do

  • Build the launch and promo paid media planners in Canva for every campaign

  • Write those planners up as Asana briefs for the design team, and keep the board moving

  • Collate the final content and campaign plan in Google Docs for our media buyer

  • Run Trybe end to end: briefing creators, gathering their content, and getting the best of it into Meta for Australia and the United States

  • Keep the content calendar on track across New Zealand, Australia and the US

  • Support paid social day to day in Meta Ads Manager, including trafficking and basic reporting

  • Produce a steady stream of trial reels for the US market, turning ideas around quickly to find what performs rather than polishing one piece for a week

  • Build statics and GIFs in Canva using our template system, keeping everything on brand

  • Cut short-form video in CapCut: product features, behind the scenes and brand storytelling

  • Appear on camera for some of our content, a regular part of the job but not every piece

  • Help with ad hoc shoots: samples, props, schedules and the practical side of production

  • Keep an eye on what is working in parenting and lifestyle content

What you will bring

  • Two or more years in a digital marketing, social media or content role, ideally with a retail, ecommerce or lifestyle brand

  • Genuinely organised, able to hold several campaigns and three markets in your head at once, with strong attention to detail

  • Confident running a project tool like Asana, and comfortable planning in Google Docs

  • Hands-on short-form video skills. You film and edit your own content in CapCut or similar, and you can show us pieces you have made

  • Confident in Canva, working inside an existing template system rather than designing from scratch

  • Comfortable being on camera some of the time, with warmth that suits our brand

  • Happy working at volume. Good and fast beats perfect and late in the trial reel pipeline

  • Clear written communication and an easy way of taking creative direction

  • A real interest in the world of babies, parenting and family life

Nice to have

  • Experience running a UGC or creator programme, on Trybe or anything like it

  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager

  • Shopify, GA4 or Asana experience

  • Photography skills and your own gear

  • Time spent in the baby, children's or parenting category

Why join us

  • A making role in a much-loved New Zealand brand, with your work in front of three markets

  • A supportive, collaborative team with real creative and design mentorship

  • Room to grow as the role and the brand grow

  • Staff discount on the Nature Baby range

How to apply

Send your CV, a short video introduction filmed on your phone telling us a little about yourself and why Nature Baby, and links to two or three pieces of content you made yourself. Rough is fine. We would rather see how you actually work than something produced for an application.
