As our workload continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Landscaper Team Leader who can run projects on site and lead a small crew to deliver high-quality results.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the day-to-day running of landscaping projects. You will lead a small team on site, coordinate tasks and materials, maintain safety standards, and ensure work is completed to a high level of quality.

You will work closely with our Operations Manager and Project Management team to keep projects running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small landscaping crew on site
• Deliver projects according to plans and specifications
• Coordinate daily site activities and materials
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
• Communicate progress and updates to management
• Mentor and support team members

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum 5+ years landscaping experience
• Proven experience leading teams on site
• Strong knowledge of hard and soft landscaping
• Experience with retaining walls, decking, paving, and site preparation
• Ability to read and follow landscape plans
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Digger operating experience is an advantage, but not essential

Requirements

• Full New Zealand driver’s licence
• Right to work in New Zealand
• Reliable, professional attitude
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• References will be checked
