Kaweka Hospital – Making it Better!

About the role

  • Permanent position

  • Full time position

  • Rostered shifts - no nights shifts or weekends!

Looking for a fresh start? Your next opportunity could be right here at Kaweka Hospital!

It doesn't happen often, but we have an exciting opportunity to join our Sterile Services Department (SSD) at Hawke's Bay's newest private surgical hospital!

Whether you're an experienced Sterile Services Technician or someone looking to kick-start a career in healthcare, we'd love to hear from you!

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a great eye for detail and understands the importance of getting the little things right.

Already qualified and experienced? Fantastic! Bring your skills and experience to a modern, purpose-built facility where you'll be part of a supportive team doing things differently.

No experience but keen to learn? That's absolutely fine too! We're happy to welcome a trainee Sterile Services Technician who has a genuine interest in SSD, a methodical and precise approach to their work, and the enthusiasm to learn. If you've got the right attitude, we're keen to help you develop the skills!

Not Your Average Sterile Services Department!

Sterile Services teams are often tucked away behind the scenes, quite literally behind surgical theatres. But not at Kaweka!

Our SSD team enjoys arguably one of the best views in the hospital, with loads of natural light and a spacious, purpose-built working environment. It's a pretty great place to spend your working day!
