NZ Sign Co, a leading Hamilton-based signage company, seeks a skilled fabricator professional with relevant trade experience to join our workshop team. 

Position: Signage Manufacturing welder /Fabricator

 Location: Hamilton Hours: Mon-Thurs, 8 am - 4:30 pm, Friday 7.30 - 4pm (Overtime occasionally available)

Everything from large 9m pylons to smaller lightboxes . Low voltage LED illuminated and non illuminated signage.

Responsibilities

• Eye for detail and pride in your work 

• Manufacture from raw materials ali, steel, acm panels, acrylic, multiboard

• Perform MIG welding on both aluminum and steel components.

• Use hand tools and power tools

• Assemble finished products- illuminated signs, cladding with sheet panels, low voltage led systems, non illuminated signs

• Inspect and find faulty components in defective products to fix them.

• Able to problem solve, express ideas

• Painting incl spray painting

Qualifications:

• Must have a relevant trade qualification or experience for more than 2 years 

• Willingness to learn if you only bring part of the skills required

• Proficient shop math skills/ follow drawings

• Excellent attendance and communication skills.

• Positive attitude and self-motivation.
