About us

At Tamaiti Whangai Social Services, we walk alongside tamariki and whānau to strengthen safety, stability and wellbeing in ways that uphold mana and reflect kaupapa Māori practice. As part of Te Rūnanganui o Te Āti Awa, our service supports whānau referred through Oranga Tamariki and other Rūnanga services to understand what matters to them, build on their strengths, and develop practical plans that help create positive change.

Benefits

You will be part of a supportive iwi-led team where your professional social work practice is valued alongside kaupapa Māori and whānau-centred ways of working. You will have access to regular professional and cultural supervision, reflective practice and learning opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful difference for tamariki and whānau through early, coordinated support.
