As the Food and Beverage Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage facilities. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily restaurant, bar and conference activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards.

The successful applicant will have a true passion for delighting guests and offering a memorable experience tailored to the needs of each individual. They will also be approachable and an excellent problem-solver, assisting the Operations Manager with leading, training, and supervising the Front of House team.

This role is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

·         Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

·         Monitor guest reservations

·         Assist in menu planning and special promotions.

·         Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.

·         Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and food quality.

·         Uphold the restaurant's policies and procedures.

·         Follow and implement the supply of Alcohol Act.

·         Train all staff in food and beverage service to the Hotel standard.

·         Responsible for optimising restaurant sales via upselling, coaching and training.

Skills & Experience:

•         Prior experience in Food & Beverage is a must.

•         Good written and verbal communication skills.

•         Excellent administrative skills.

•         Ability to think on your feet and work by yourself.

•         Current Duty Manager Licence or ability to obtain one.
