This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking for a commercially focused role offering exposure to Board-level reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business improvement, alongside excellent flexibility and long-term career opportunities.

Your new role

Your responsibilities will include

Preparation of monthly management accounts
Production of Board reporting packs
KPI reporting, variance analysis and supporting commentary
Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
Maintaining strong financial controls and reporting processes
Preparation of the year-end audit file
Liaising directly with external auditors
Identifying and implementing finance process improvements
Supporting the enhancement of financial reporting tools
Supporting the training and development of colleagues within the finance team
Working collaboratively with departments across the wider business
Ad hoc financial analysis and projects

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with strong industry experience and a proven background in management accounting and financial reporting.

You will ideally offer

Professional accounting qualification
Strong industry accounting experience
Excellent management accounts and reporting experience
Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis skills
Experience working with ERP systems
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics D365 and/or Power BI would be particularly advantageous.
