About the role

We are seeking an Class 2 vacuum truck operator to join our team at Streamline Environmental and Drainage in Ngaruawahia, Waikato. This full-time role is crucial in supporting our road transport operations, where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our vacuum trucks.

What you'll be doing

1. Safely operate vacuum trucks to perform a range of environmental and drainage services

2. Undertake pre-start and post-operational checks on vehicles

3. Load and unload waste products as required

4. Maintain detailed records of job activities and vehicle maintenance

5. Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

6. Provide excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

1. Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driver's license

2. Proven experience operating vacuum trucks or similar heavy vehicles

3. Knowledge of environmental and drainage regulations and best practices

4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

5. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
