Solid Oral Care is looking for an ambitious, hands-on marketer to grow our online, and nurture our wholesale business across New Zealand and Australia.
Working directly with the founder, you’ll bring ideas, agree growth targets and deliver plans to achieve them. We want someone who spots opportunities, takes initiative and follows through.
About Solid Oral Care
We make toothpaste, toothpaste tablets and other oral care products, with reusable and refillable packaging at the heart of what we do. Our toothpaste is made in-house in Porirua, and we sell online and through retailers across New Zealand and Australia.
What you’ll do
Manage the marketing calendar, working with our founder to decide on campaigns, launches and online and retailer promotions.
Work with our founder to agree growth targets, deliver marketing plans and improve results.
Deliver marketing across email, social media and our websites.
Improve customer journeys to encourage repeat purchases.
Maximise wholesale opportunities and coordinate stockist promotions.
Use sales data, analytics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
This is a varied role combining creative thinking, planning and practical delivery. You’ll have a say in what activity will have the greatest impact.
What you’ll bring:
You’ll have practical marketing experience, strong writing skills and the confidence to take work from idea through to delivery.
You’ll be organised, commercially minded and comfortable using data to make decisions. You’ll bring recommendations, learn quickly and want to take on greater responsibility as the business grows.
Experience with Klaviyo, WooCommerce, Canva, Meta and Google Analytics would be useful, as would experience in consumer products.
What we offer
A salary of $70,000–$75,00 depending on experience, direct collaboration with the founder and ownership across two markets. You’ll work from our Porirua lab, with up to two work-from-home days each week. We can also discuss part time work, if this is your preference.
