The Role

We are looking for a Client Experience & Retail Store Manager to lead our Queenstown boutique. Reporting to our National Retail Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of the store, the development of its team, and the experience of every client who walks through our door—local and international.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the boutique to achieve sales, KPI and budget targets, and report on store performance weekly

- Recruit, train, coach and performance manage the store team

- Prepare rosters and manage wage costs within budget

- Deliver an exceptional client experience, and build a loyal local and visitor clientele through personalized clienteling and follow-up

- Manage stock control, deliveries, transfers, stocktakes and shrinkage

- Maintain visual merchandising and presentation standards in line with our brand guidelines

- Oversee cash handling, opening and closing procedures, health and safety, and operational compliance

- Share client and product insights with the wider business

What You Will Bring

- At least three years of experience in a retail, hospitality or client service role within a premium, luxury or high-end environment, including experience leading a team

- A proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive store performance

- Experience with rostering, stock management and day-to-day store operations

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- Availability to work full time, including weekends and public holidays as rostered

Desirable

- Experience in luxury fashion, jewelry or premium apparel

- Experience with clienteling or VIP client programs

What We Offer

- A base salary of $70,000–$80,000 per year, plus incentives

- A permanent full-time role with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours and up to 40 hours per week
