About Howden:

We are part of the Howden Broking Group, the world's largest privately owned insurance broker, headquartered in London. Since launching in the Pacific region in March 2021, we have grown from a team of three to more than 600 employees across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji and our growth story is only just beginning.

At Howden, People First is more than a mantra – it shapes how we grow, collaborate and support one another. We believe skills can be taught, but character cannot. You will join a genuinely collegiate and highly engaged team, with the opportunity to contribute ideas, make a visible impact and build your career alongside a business with ambitious plans.

  • Manage our products end to end, including quotes and processing, invoicing, renewals, credit management, and other administrative duties in support.

  • Developing growth opportunities with new and existing clients ensuring their needs are met.

What we are looking for

  • Ideally, 2-3 years of personal lines insurance experience.

  • NZ Certificate (Level 5) in Financial Services

  • People first and team approach to work, clients, colleagues and providers

  • Ability to build relationships supporting clients as they make financial decisions.

  • A person who is organised - works systematically and can assess priorities to ensure key requirements and milestones are met

  • Excellent problem-solving ability, able to think outside the square and push boundaries to create the best outcome for all parties

  • Growth mind-set – open to change and continuous learning

  • Ability to work within policy and legislative and good conduct requirements

What we offer

  • Competitive salary

  • Positive, inclusive team environment where we welcome individuality and celebrate diversity.

  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities.

  • A team environment where teamwork, fun and care matter
