Job Description
As a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, you will provide outstanding care in the cardiac catheterization lab, performing essential procedures and supporting the cardiology team. The UCF Lake Nona Medical Center offers a supportive environment equipped with advanced technology, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide necessary care.
- Prepare and maintain equipment in the cardiac cath lab.
- Collaborate with the cardiology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience
- Previous experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech or relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of cardiac procedures and technology.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
- State licensure as required.
