Destination Queenstown and Lake Wānaka Tourism are the regional tourism organisations responsible for positioning Queenstown and Wānaka as world-class regions striving to be leaders in regenerative tourism.

We are seeking a Wānaka Industry Engagement Coordinator to provide a visible, accessible and professional point of contact for Lake Wānaka Tourism members and partners. Based in Wānaka, this outward-facing role will build strong local relationships, coordinate member support and agreed industry activity, and host visiting travel trade, business-events clients and media.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys connecting with people and being actively involved in the local tourism industry. You’ll bring excellent relationship-building and communication skills, strong local knowledge and a genuine passion for Wānaka. Experience in tourism, hospitality, member services, account management, business development, marketing or another relationship-focused environment would be advantageous, along with the confidence to host groups and manage logistics and competing priorities.
