Kitchen Joiner & Kitchen Detailer – Cromwell
We’re currently recruiting for two opportunities with a kitchen company in Cromwell. Both positions are full-time and permanent.
We’re looking for experienced people who take pride in their work and are looking for a long-term opportunity in the Central Otago area.
Kitchen Joiner
This role would suit an experienced Joiner or Cabinetmaker who enjoys hands-on workshop work and producing quality kitchen cabinetry.
What you’ll be doing:
Building and assembling kitchen cabinetry
Working from plans and measurements
Using workshop tools and equipment
Cutting, assembling and finishing kitchen components
Checking work for accuracy and quality
Working as part of a team to complete kitchen projects
What we’re looking for:
Previous kitchen joinery, joinery or cabinetmaking experience
Good understanding of kitchen cabinetry
Confident working from plans and measurements
Good attention to detail
Comfortable using workshop tools and equipment
Reliable and hardworking
Able to work independently and as part of a team
A formal trade qualification isn’t essential. We’re looking for someone with the right experience, skills and ability to produce quality work.
Kitchen Detailer
This role would suit someone with experience in kitchen detailing, cabinetry, kitchen design or joinery who enjoys the technical side of kitchen projects.
What you’ll be doing:
Preparing detailed kitchen drawings and plans
Working from designs, plans and measurements
Detailing cabinetry, layouts and specifications
Checking measurements and drawings for accuracy
Making adjustments to plans as required
Ensuring designs are practical and suitable for manufacture
Working closely with the workshop and production team
Managing multiple jobs and working to deadlines
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in kitchen detailing, cabinetry, kitchen design or joinery
Good understanding of kitchen construction and cabinetry
Confident reading plans and working with measurements
Good computer skills and experience with relevant design or CAD software
Strong attention to detail
Good problem-solving skills
Well organised and able to manage deadlines
Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
A formal trade qualification isn’t essential. We’re looking for someone with the right experience, technical skills and understanding of kitchen joinery.
