We’re looking for an experienced Signwriter with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality. From preparing surfaces and applying vinyl graphics to creating custom signage, you’ll enjoy varied, hands-on work as part of a friendly, supportive team.

About the role
Working closely with the Workshop Manager and wider workshop team, you’ll produce and install high-quality graphics and signage, primarily for heavy commercial vehicles. You may also work on building signage, displays and other projects as required.
Your day-to-day work will include:
Preparing vehicle panels and other surfaces for graphics, wraps and painted signage.
Installing vinyl lettering, graphics and full or partial vehicle wraps, as well as paint protection film (PPF) and its application.
Producing and applying signage in line with artwork guidelines and job specifications.
Creating signs, lettering and custom artwork using appropriate materials and techniques.
Carrying out basic dismantling and reassembly to support preparation and installation.
Checking completed work and correcting any application or finish faults before delivery.
Keeping the team updated on job progress and recording relevant details against each job.
Safely using and maintaining tools and equipment, and keeping your work area clean and tidy.
What you’ll bring

We’re looking for:
Previous signwriting experience, particularly in vehicle wrapping and vinyl graphic installation.
Strong surface preparation and application skills, with an understanding of different materials and finishes.
Ability to interpret job sheets, follow artwork guidelines, and deliver consistent, high-quality work.
Basic dismantling and reassembly skills.
Good communication, practical problem-solving skills and a positive approach.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
A commitment to safe work practices.
A full driver licence.
Experience with Flexi-Sign & Adobe Illustrator will be an advantage.
