Assistant Dietary Manager
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Dietary Manager to join our team. This position offers a dynamic blend of culinary and leadership responsibilities, with a schedule primarily consisting of 11AM to 7PM shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary and food safety standards
Assist with staff scheduling and daily departmental operations
Manage purchasing and inventory control
Provide supervision, guidance, and support to dietary staff
Participate in on-call rotation as required
Support the Dietary Manager in maintaining compliance with long-term care regulations and quality standards
Qualifications:
Previous cooking experience required
Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred but not required
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Compensation & Hours:
32 hours per week
$24.00-$25.00 per hour, based on Long-Term Care experience
