Job Summary

We are seeking a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) AI Platform Engineer / Cloud Engineer to build, automate, and operate a secure, scalable cloud engineering platform that accelerates the deployment of Gemini and Vertex AI solutions from experimentation to production. The ideal candidate will design and maintain cloud infrastructure, implement CI/CD and MLOps practices, ensure security and governance compliance, and enable development teams to rapidly deliver AI-powered applications. This role requires expertise in GCP services, infrastructure automation, cloud security, DevOps, and AI/ML platform operations to support enterprise-scale generative AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
· Build CI/CD and infrastructure automation on GCP for AI applications, APIs, models/configurations, and cloud services.
· Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
· Establish deployment pipelines and environment management across development, test, staging, and production.
· Support deployment and operationalization of applications consuming Vertex AI and Gemini services.
· Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, AI/application observability, and operational dashboards using GCP-native capabilities where appropriate.
· Implement secure identity, secrets/configuration management, IAM, networking, and access patterns in collaboration with security teams.
· Enable automated testing, release management, rollback, and production support.
· Continuously optimize platform reliability, scalability, engineering productivity, and GCP consumption.

Preferred Profile: Strong GCP, CI/CD, Terraform, containers/Kubernetes and observability experience; practical MLOps/LLMOps and Vertex AI deployment experience highly desirable.
