Job Title: Special Education Teacher – PreK–2 Autism

Schedule & Duration:
- 7.5 hours per day, Monday–Friday
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of the school year
Grade Level:
- PreK–2, Autism program
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support for students with autism in PreK–2 classrooms
- Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs and district standards
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with Connecticut regulations
Qualifications:
- Connecticut Special Education Teacher Certification (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience working with students with autism preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
