Electrical Fitter | Brisbane | Relocate to Australia
Vitality Recruitment is working with a well-established Australian business in the electrical servicing space to find an Electrical Fitter based in New Zealand who’s keen to make the move across the ditch.
If you know your way around electrical and mechanical systems and want more variety than standard install and maintenance work, this is a solid move. You’ll be building, fitting, testing and fault-finding equipment in a Brisbane workshop before it heads out to customers across Australia. It’s hands-on, technical, and you’ll be trusted to see a job through from start to finish.
The role
You’ll take equipment from workshop build through to testing and handover:
Fitting, wiring and assembling electrical and mechanical components across the product range
Testing, fault-finding and diagnostics before equipment is delivered
Reading and working from electrical drawings, schematics and technical specs
Keeping everything compliant with AS/NZS standards and company quality procedures
Maintaining accurate build, testing and compliance records

What you’ll need
Trade qualified Electrical Fitter (NZ or Australian qualifications)
Experience in industrial, manufacturing or power-related electrical work
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Able to work on your own and take ownership of the job in front of you
Sound communication and a team-first attitude
Open to relocating to Brisbane and able to work in Australia (NZ citizens welcome)
