Trainer – Waikato (Cambridge, Morrinsville, Matamata)

Step by Step Training specialises in one-to-one digital literacy and vocational training for adult learners. We’re expanding and looking for an experienced trainer in the Waikato, particularly in Cambridge, Morrinsville and Matamata.
This contractor role suits educators who value independence and flexibility. You’ll deliver private one-to-one training from your own home-based training space, both face-to-face and online, using our resources and digital systems.

What you’ll need
Teaching, tutoring, coaching or training experience and/or qualifications
Confidence training both face-to-face and online
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows, email and internet)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Empathy, adaptability and professionalism
A private home office or training space, plus your own equipment: a Windows laptop or desktop and an ergonomic, height-adjustable chair
NZQA unit standard 4098, or experience assessing unit standards (or willingness to gain this)
Bonus if you have
Experience training in Xero or other vocational topics
The ability to travel to nearby towns
